Same Blunder Again And Again In Andhra Pradesh

Sometimes those in Governments behave very strangely. In 2019, the Independence day event of the AP Government has happened in Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium of Vijayawada. To make it feasible for the parade, the officials built concrete roads inside the stadium over the tracks and turfs.

Back then, there was a huge criticism on that act and the officials dug the roads and prepared the tracks and turfs once again. But then, it is not over. The stadium has been chosen for the Independence event this year as well and the officials are laying roads once again in the stadium.

It looks like no lesson has been learned. The stadium previously hosted international cricket matches, and National level athletics competitions. Already all the states of the country lack proper sporting facilities and then, there are governments which ruin the existing facilities like this.

The Chief Minister has attended this event in the past and will be attending tomorrow’s event as well. We will have to see if the CM will realize the mistake at least now. Meanwhile, there is a huge hue and cry over this shocking attitude in social media.
