Sasikala Eyes Jayalalithaa’s Seat?

Jayalalithaa’s close aide, Sasikala seems to be inching towards occupying the former’s seat. Already we have seen Sasikala’s group erecting posters and banners demanding her to be made the next Chief Minister. And now the buzz is emerging that Sasikala is eyeing Jayalalithaa’s RK Nagar seat.

RK Nagar seat will now have to go for a by-election within Six months and Sasikala is contemplating to contest from the seat which should be any easy bet for her to get into the state assembly. Sasikala was made the party’s General Secretary after Jayalalithaa’s demise.

Both MGR and Jayalalithaa held both the positions – General Secretary of the party and Chief Minister.at a time. Many in AIADMK believe that O Panneer Selvam is a mere puppet of Sasikala and will have to make way for her whenever she wants.
