Saveetha University Arrives Amaravati

​Amaravati one of the fastest developing cities has pocketed yet another University, as the Cheif Minister of the state, N. Chandrababu Naidu welcomes Saveetha University mentioning that it would give a fillip to higher education in Andhra Pradesh.

While VIT, one of the renowned and highly ranked University has called out for admissions for this academic year in the Amaravati branch with classes to start from July. The arrival of Saveetha University is going to be an add-on to the education in Amaravati extending the platform of learning to the pursuers.

Meanwhile, the state is working on designing the thematic cities with a concept of “Walk to work”. This theme of fused grid model of ​nine​ cities includes the city of Knowledge which would host the major educational firms​ while the others are​ Government, Finance, Justice, Health, Sports, Tourism, Media and Electronics cities. ​The grid model city would spread over 217 sq.km, where the Knowledge city gets 8,547 acres​.​
