Security beefed up ahead of New Year’s eve!

In the wake of recent Bengaluru Bomb blasts, all the metro cities in India have been put on high alert. Intelligence Agencies have already alerted about possible terrorist attacks for the New year eve. They are of the opinion that the minor bomb blast in Bangalore is a trial run for a major show. Hyderabad Police have deployed troops heavily in the city and 2 wheelers are being checked for irregularities.

All the major flyovers in the city are closed for the night of December 31st. No traffic will be allowed around Hussainsagar between 10 pm on December 31 to 2 am on January 1.

Also no private travel buses, lorries and other heavy vehicles would be allowed from 10 pm on December 31 to 2 am on January 1. Police are going to deal drunk and drive cases with iron fist mainly to avert road accidents. Hyderabad Police will have a tough job of controlling traffic as well as ensuring security in the city.
