Selfie Madness: People Could Not Get Over Even in Calamities

Selfie Madness seems to be getting into the heads of the people big time. They even resort to taking selfies in extremely dangerous conditions just for the sake of getting Likes and Shares in the Social Media. This is a case in Kerala as well which is hit by never before seen Floods.

There are a few instances of people getting into the Water just for the sake of selfie but getting drowned. There is another bizarre incident narrated by the Indian Armed Forces. An Army Helicopter spotted a young lad waving a Red Cloth to them.

Sensing some trouble and the need for the assistance, Army made a very difficult landing there. But the guy just wanted to take the Selfie with the Army Personnel and told them there is no need of any assistance to him. He potentially wasted the time and resources of the Indian Army.

That waste may have costed someone’s life at some other place. This is what people are reduced to in this Selfie Madness. Floods in Kerala have killed around 350 people and displaced thousands of them. According to initial estimates, the loss is expected to be around 20000 Crore.
