Senior Babus Embarass Jagan Before Modi

Reports are emerging that some of the Retired IAS Officers are contemplating to write to the Union Government to give their pensions directly from the Central Government’s treasury.

Usually, state governments pay pensions to the retired Babus and Center reimburses that later. Given the dire finances of Andhra Pradesh Government, the state government is not paying these pensions properly.

So, they are contemplating to write a letter to the Central Government to that effect. These Babus also include some IAS Officers who previously worked as Chief Secretaries for AP. They are hurrying into this as situation of AP can become worse in coming days.

This will be a massive embarrassment for Jagan Mohan Reddy Government. But then the state government can blame no one but itself to this situation.
