Senior Most Congress MLC joins BJP!

Congress party which is already reeling under the pressure of biggest ever defeat in Andhra Pradesh, has suffered one more blow. The party’s MLC, Kantheti Satya Narayana bid goodbye to the party and joined BJP a short while ago in the presence of President, Amit Shah. He was accompanied by Vishakapatnam MP and State President, Haribabu.

Kantheti is one of the senior most leaders of Congress party and was associated with the party for more than four decades. He also worked as PCC disciplinary committee chairman. He was made MLC last year in Governor Quota during Kiran Kumar Reddy’s rule.

Kantheti will now become the lone BJP member in Andhra Pradesh Council. However the timing of this joining will come as a big surprise as BJP is under severe criticism from all quarters of the state for the poor allocation of funds in the recent Union Budget.
