Black Money accusations on Amitab and Aishwarya

In what could be the sensation of all the time, an international journalist consortium led by Panama based law firm Mossack Fonseca examined and revealed some secret offshore wrongdoings of world leaders and celebrities to evade tax in their countries. The findings were leaked after examining about 11.5million documents over past 40years.

About 500 Indians find their places in this list including Aishwarya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan. The leakage accuses Aishwarya Rai, her mother and brothers were registered in 2005 as directors in the Amic Partners limited which was subsequently dissolved after changing her status as shareholder in 2008. Indian Superstar Amitabh Bachchan accused of being appointed as directors in at least four offshore companies setup in 1993. The Indian law won’t permit setting up of companies in foreign location. Aishwarya Rai media advisor already issued public statement on behalf of her thrashing all the allegations.

Apart from Aishwarya and Amitab, the list also contains names of more than 140 politicians, 200 businessman and 12 Chief Ministers. Pakistan PM Nawaz Shariffa and Chinese president Xi Jinping has been accused for having offshore dealings to evade tax.
