Service Providers submit call data at Vijayawada court!

All the 25 service providers had reached Vijayawada Metropolitan court a short while ago and submitted the call data details in seal covers. These covers will be sent to the high court registrar with the special messenger of the metropolitan court.

On the other side, AP government is planning to file a petition with the high court and seek these details from the court itself. On the other side, Telangana government is arguing that the data should not be revealed as it hinders the sovereignty of the Telangana government.

It is known that Telangana government had admitted to the call tapping but they say they did the tapping by following all the legal procedures. However they are not entitled to tap AP government phones even though the government is run from Hyderabad. This is likely to reopen the discussions about jurisdiction in the common capital.
