Seven Crore Super Luxury Bullet Proof Bus for KCR

In the wake of the recent encounters in Telangana and Naxal Threat, Telangana Government has decided to beef up the security of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao. The government is in the process of procuring a new bulletproof bus which will have state of the art facilities and new security features.

The Bus is estimated to cost about 7 crores and the vehicle is to be used by the CM for touring the state. Interestingly, the Chief Minister already has a bulletproof Mercedes Benz bus that was procured at a cost of 4 crores three years ago.

While a chopper will be the primary mode of transport for the elections campaign, the Chief Minister will use the bullet-proof bus for an extended stay in the districts. The government will call for tenders very soon and it will take a minimum two to three months to get the bus ready after finalizing the tenders.
