Tirumala is one of the most sacred places on earth and strict rules and regulations are always enforced to uphold the sanctity of this place. But shockingly, there was a brief thought of holding a seafood festival in Tirumala.

Going into the story, Andhra Pradesh fisheries minister Seediri Appalaraju said he canceled out the plan to hold a seafood festival in Tirumala.

“Our associate, Anil said we should hold a seafood festival in Tirumala. I stopped the plan. I felt it wouldn’t be good to have a non vegetarian event at Tirumala. It wouldn’t have been good to display prawns and fish here” the minister said.

The very fact that someone in an influential position in the administration wing even thought of setting up a seafood festival at the holy shrine of Tirumala has started to shock netizens who are hearing about the news now.

Had there been any progress on this front, all hell would’ve broken lose. Netizens are commenting it’s even strange to say someone even suggested to set up such a stall at the holy Tirumala.
