Shocking: Tragic Suicide of Warangal Girl in London

The sudden and unfortunate demise of Shravani Baswaraju, a 27-year-old M.Sc (Management) student studying at the Bloomsbury Institute in London, has left her family devastated. Hailing from Pochammamaidan in Warangal, the news of her alleged suicide has sent shockwaves through the community.

It is reported that financial difficulties played a significant role in Shravani’s tragic decision. She was facing challenges in meeting her university fees and repaying a bank loan from India, which added to her burden. Her father, Ramesh Baswaraju, worked as a lorry driver, while her mother, Vijaya, was a homemaker.

The heartbreaking situation has been further compounded by the family’s inability to afford the repatriation of Shravani’s body back home. Understanding the family’s dire circumstances, the NRI Forum-UK has initiated an online fundraising campaign to assist with the expenses. The Forum’s efforts have garnered significant support, with financial assistance amounting to Rs.30 lakh raised so far to aid Shravani’s family during this challenging time.

Bharath Baswaraju, Shravani’s brother, has informed us that her body is expected to arrive at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Thursday at 10 AM.
