In a shocking cinema-like triangular love crime incident, a transgender boyfriend has burnt his ex-girlfriend alive. This incident happened in the Ponnur area near Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Going into the story, Nandini, 25 works as an IT professional at an IT company in Perungudy, Chennai. She was in a relationship with a man named Vetri Manimaran and left him later after coming to know that he was a transgender person.
She then started a relationship with a man named Rahul. But incidentally, this Vetri, who identifies as transgender was also in love with Rahul. Nandini got to know about this and warned Vetri to stay away from her boyfriend.
Anguished by this, the transgender took Nandini to a nearby lake in Ponnur and tied her hands and legs up, before setting her ablaze while she was alive. He burnt her alive with petrol.
Police have established that the culprit Vetri Manimaran is behind this heinous crime and took him into custody. He is being investigated further to verify the facts of the case.
