Signals of divorce between TDP and BJP

The alliance between TDP and BJP may be heading towards a breakup now. After Center clarifying that they think Andhra Pradesh do not need Special Category Status, political pressure is mounting on Chandrababu Naidu to come out and fight for the rights of the state. There are good signals from TDP in that direction as well.

We have seen Chandrababu speaking in the tone of dissent from the last couple of days. Several TDP leaders are taking head-on with the Center and BJP on various platforms. Chandrababu has this habit of sending such feelers from his men on important issues. He will take a decision going by the feedback of that.

If the feedback is bad, he distances from those comments. In this issue, there can not be any bad feedback since there is a huge anti-BJP wave in the state after the failed promises. This will be a very crucial decision as center will look to further tighten the screws on the state if happened. If Naidu did not go for kill, he will sink along with BJP in 2019.
