Singapore Consortium Begins Work

Three weeks after AP Government presented the Letter of Award for the development of Amaravati start-up area, a delegation of the Singapore consortium consisting of Ascendas-Singbridge and Sembcorp Pte. Ltd started dwelling into the finer details of master planning and infrastructure.

They are in consultation with CRDA officials to draw up plans for integrated development of the Amaravati core area this week. They are also seeking other technical aspects to be prepared to call for tenders once the Singapore Government gives its approvals.

Once the planning is complete, the Consortium is likely to begin work latest in a couple of weeks. On the other side, the London-based firm, Foster+Parters (F+P) is expected to submit finals designs of the core government complex by the month-end.
