Singapore reveals reason behind free Plan

There are many speculations regarding the motive behind Singapore preparing the Master Plan of Andhra Pradesh. There are rumours that they are paid 2000 Crore while some claim that they will be given the duty of constructing the capital. But there are no proofs warranting both the claims.

However The Centre for Livable Cities (CLC) of the urban planning arm of the Singapore government, says that it has taken up the Master Plan work since it is keen on monitoring the progress of the State government’s efforts to build a world class people’s capital.

They see this task as a great opportunity to learn from Andhra Pradesh and will help themselves with learn about things that could not be taken up in Singapore. The team is expected to submit the Master Plan towards the end of May or early June. Singapore government already confirmed that they will not bid for the capital construction but will have no objection if any Singapore companies do.
