Singapore’s disappointing proposal for Amaravati

Singapore companies reportedly came up with a disappointing proposal on Amaravati construction. They have offered to develop only 250 acres in the first phase. The primary amenities for this should be provided by the state government itself.

The Singapore companies cluster will take care of the development and investments in this 250 acres. They are asking for complete powers on the land to be vested with them. The cluster had offered to develop 1300 acres in phases of 250 acres each with which the entire Seed capital will be developed.

The Singapore companies have also clarified that state government itself should construct government buildings like Secretariat, Assembly, Council, Raj Bhavan, high court, CM Residence, Ministers quarters and residences of the officials. This proposal will take a lot of time for the development of the capital and so the government is not keen on it. Sources say the exact work flow will be decided in the subsequent meetings.
