Small Change in PM Modi’s Amaravati Tour

The AP government is gearing up to receive Prime Minister Modi on May 2. Modi will be in Amaravati to restart the development work of the capital.

Though the tour is on, there is a small change in programme. Due to the recent Pahalgam attack, the Prime Minister’s road show has been cancelled. Instead, Modi will wave from his car.

A huge meeting is being organized which will see 5 lakh people. The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) is overseeing the orginisation of the programme.

The Prime Minister will restart the developmental works and announce new initiatives for the state government. The site chosen is spread across 250 acres.

It will have a dias, Amaravati stalls, seating arrangements for VVIPs, VIPs, bureaucrats, Amaravati farmers and other public. There will be a photo gallery, Immersive Tech exhibition (Amaravati Experience Center) and a 3D model of Amaravati government complex.

Three helipads will be readied apart from the existing one. Parking lots are also being provided depending on the routes people reach the venue.
