Social Media Posts: SC Angry on Sajjala Bhargav Reddy

YSRCP social media ex convenor Sajjala Bhargav Reddy got a rap from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court refused to give him anticipatory bail regarding posting objectionable comments on social media.

However, it provided intermediary relief from arrest for two weeks. It told Bhargav Reddy to approach the Trail Court meanwhile. During the hearing, the jury comprising justice Pankaj Mittal and SVN Bhatti expressed anger on Bhargav Reddy.

It raised objections on nature of posts by Sajjala Bhargav Reddy. Do you think we cannot understand your posts? Do you think we cannot see the message in those posts, they questioned Sajjala Bhargav.

The posts reached an unbearable point. A wrong is a wrong, no matter who does it. The system will not forgive them. They will be punished. Don’t expect immediate bail in social media matters.

If we give bail to one, others will behave as they like on social media, said the jury expressing anger.
