Social Media Reactions to Attack on Jagan

Opposition leader YS Jagan was attacked at the Vizag airport with a small knife that is used in cock fights. It’s fortunate that the knife was not poisoned and the injury was not big. AP police are trying to get facts after arrested the accused and culprit Srinivasa Rao in the airport. Jagan was rushed to the hospital and he tweeted about his safety to his fans too. In fact he was discharged from the hospital too and he was seen walking off with his family members. So there is absolutely no reason to panic and/or worry about him.

Turn around of events is social media buzz about the incident and variety of reactions. While fans of YSRCP are alleging its a political conspiracy of TDP to eliminate Jagan, TDP followers are recalling Sivaji’s theory of Operation Garuda. Film enthusiasts are recalling Mahesh Babu’s Athadu movie coup scene taking a dig at the attack.

On the other hand Srinivas, who was arrested, hails from Amalapuram happens to be an ardent fan of YSRCP and Jagan. His elder brother spoke to media and expressed dismay over how he could attack Jagan with a knife. Picture of Srinivas on flexi wishing Jagan on New Year has been doing rounds on social media. SIT will investigate on all these and the theories aforementioned so we will get to know what matches to the closest. Meanwhile since injury is not serious and since the Jagan is safe and would even continue his padayatra from Monday, it would be the best for anyone to exercise restraint and composure.
