Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao may have been late in taken Modi’s Swachch Bharat seriously but he is making some quick progress. The government is making some keen steps to make the newest state of the country clean and tidy. The government is thinking on the lines of imposing fines on those who spit in public in all the municipalities of the state.

The government is also thinking on the lines of giving magisterial powers to Municipal Commissioners and punish those who are responsible for pollution. This system is already in place in Singapore and have shown some good results there.

Government is planning to spend good amount on improving sanitary facilities in the state before imposing these stern rules on the public. On the flip side, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be a very happy man!
