South Korea City in Andhra Pradesh

Kia Motors coming to Anantapur seems to be a game changer for Andhra Pradesh as several South Korean companies are following Kia Motors to AP. The government is mulling the creation of a ‘South Korea City’ in Amaravati or elsewhere in the state.

Naidu offered land, water, uninterrupted electricity and other incentives for the Koreans in his bid to woo them to the state. A delegation form the country sat with the CM earlier this week proposed to bring in at least 30 companies.

These industries are from sectors like electric steel, logistics, automobile components, heavy equipment manufacturing, ship-building, liquors, medical and marine equipment. MOUs will be signed once they come up with comprehensive proposals and designs.
