Sridhar Babu issue – a Congress high command drama?

The change of portfolio of Sridhar Babu from Legislative affairs to commercial taxes triggered a big storm in AP politics. While Telangana agitators are accusing Chief Minister of Anti-Telangana work, Chief Minister and United Andhra Pradesh supporters are singing praises of him as hero of Samayikya Andhra agitations. Amid all this, Sridhar Babu resigned to his minister post, telling that he was discriminated and insulted for being from Telangana.

Political observers are of an opinion that this entire episode could be a ploy of the Congress High Command. With this issue, Sridhar Babu gets tremendous sympathy in the Telangana region and KKR gets hero image in Seema Andhra. High command feels that there is a dearth of proper leader from Congress in Telangana region. With this issue, Sridhar Babu has all chances to become one. So, Sridhar Babu and Kiran Kumar Reddy will Congress’ palanquin bearers in both the regions.
