Stephenson’s mistake to weaken Cash for Vote case!

Reports are emerging that Telangana nominated MLA Stephenson faltered a bit while giving his statement in front of the magistrate. While naming TDP’s MLC nominee, Stephenson said it is V. Raghavender Reddy while the actual person is Vem Narender Reddy.

This mistake will come handy for Revanth Reddy and his lawyers as they try to project this as a fabricated story and may be Stephenson as mentally unstable person. Some Channel reports say Stephenson said that Chandrababu Naidu offered him 5 Crore for voting for TDP’s MLC nominee but in the actual audio tape leaked, Chandrababu did not speak anything about the cash.

The court is likely to give Stephenson’s statement to Revanth Reddy’s lawyers officially on Monday. Revanth Reddy’s bail petition will come up for hearing in Hyderabad High Court on 24th of this month. Lawyers will prepare their arguments accordingly basing on Stephenson’s statement.
