Stephenson’s Not-Before Petition put off to Monday!

Hyderabad High Court had taken up the Matthiah’s Quash Petition and nominated MLA, Stephenson’s Not-Before petition this morning. Stephenson’s lawyer argued that the judge Siva Shankar Rao may be being partial towards the accused in the case.

The lawyer indirectly pointed out that the judge belong to Andhra Pradesh and he is being impartial in this case. Matthaiah’s lawyers allege that Stephenson is trying to mislead the court and delay the court proceedings. The lawyer asked the court to slash the Not-Before petition so as to avoid delay in the case.

Both the sides have completed their arguments on Stephenson’s petition. The high court had postponed the decision on this hearing to Monday. The judge also clarified that the stay on Matthaiah’s arrest will be on until the next hearing.
