Strange Confusion of Congress and YSR Congress

Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is conducting yet another Yuva Bheri in Anantapur later today. YSR Congress leaders themselves are not clear how this Yuva Bheri will help the cause of Special Status as the party itself is moving close with BJP and is even extending support whenever necessary.

It is more of a display of strength for YSR Congress and will be used to score political points on TDP here, even though Special Status is a Central issue. On the other side, PCC President, Raghuveera Reddy alleged that Jagan is just doing politics in the name of Special Status.

He went on to say that only Congress has the strength to get Special Status. Congress did not add Special Status in AP Reorganization Act and even though the party has a majority in Rajya Sabha, it never demanded BJP give Special Status first before helping bills to pass in the Upper House.

Looks like both the parties are equally confused about their fight on the Special Status. Probably, the issue itself is dead and forgotten with even people not taking it seriously. Congress and YSR Congress are just beating the dead horse.
