Strange Decision by Telugu Govts – Telangana to Benefit?

Governor ESL Narasimhan convened a meeting between the Ministers and Officials of Both the Telugu States about issues pending. But the meeting has got a strange outcome. Both the sides have decided not to approach the courts or the Central government to solve the impending issues.

They opined that Court proceedings will lead to unusual delay and if they approach the center, they are again asking both the states to sit and decide. So, both the parties have decided to solve all the issues between themselves or in the presence of Governor if necessary.

Finance Minister Yanamala Krishnudu and Chief Whip Kaluva Srinivasulu represented AP while Ministers Harish Rao, Jagadish Reddy, and Adviser Vivek represented Telangana in the meeting. But then this decision will immediately benefit Telangana government.

Andhra Pradesh is planning to approach Supreme Court once again over the sharing of assets and liabilities of AP Reorganization Act after poor response from Telangana government and reluctance from the Central government. Telangana will get benefitted if they decide to solve the issue between both the governments.
