World famous architect’s design attracts KCR

Looks like Chandras of both the Telugu states are competing with each other in churning out landmark buildings. Telangana Chief Minister had approved the design of proposed Telangana Kalabharathi coming up at the existing NTR stadium. The foundation stone will be laid very soon.

World famous architect Hafeez Contractor had come up with this design which attracted KCR very much. The Kalabharathi will have four auditoriums with a seating capacity of 3,000, 1,500, 1,000 and 500 respectively. It will have large water bodies and fountains around it and will be almost centrally located having lawns either side.

The plinth area of the building will be roughly 1,25,000 square feet with 125 by 125 square meters dimensions and will have Experience Theater, Pre-view Theater, Practice and rehearsal areas, Library, Art Museum, Painting and Sculpture galleries, VIP Lounge and Media Lounge, Seminar rooms, dormitory and guest rooms, Three restaurants etc.
