Submit or Get Crushed: The Ruthless Era of Modi

If there is an insulting defeat to Modi after the 2014 elections, it is the election results in Bihar where he lost to the Opposition’s Mahagatbandhan of RJD, JD(U) and Congress. But then, Modi and Shah did not like it and the way how they came to power in Bihar is an indication of their ruthless era.

The exercise began two months ago when CBI suffocated RJD by raids on Lalu’s daughter, Misa Bharathi, and son, Tejaswi Yadav. There were some sting operations on Lalu as well. The other day, Nitish Kumar resigned as Bihar CM and is swearing in again today with BJP‘s Support.

What has happened in Bihar is very simple to understand only after BJP came to power there. We also know how Tamil Politics are being dictated by BJP once Jayalalithaa is no more. In the Telugu States, we are seeing how Modi is cosing up with TRS and YSR Congress while being totally insensitive to its ally, TDP.

This is an indication to other Regional Parties in the country. They should submit to the might of Modi and Shah or get crushed ruthlessly. One more unilateral mandate to Modi in 2019. Regional parties will have a tough time to survive between 2019 and 2024.
