Sujana and Dattatreya confirmed for Union cabinet

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will get one each ministries in the first ever cabinet expansion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sujana Chowdary, Telugu Desam MP from Andhra Pradesh and BJP Senior Leader Bandaru Dattatreya from Telangana are confirmed.

It is said that Narendra Modi himself called both of them a short while ago and confirmed this development. The new members of the cabinet will be taking oath on Sunday at 1 PM in Rashtrapathi Bhavani. President of India will administer the oath.

Bandaru Dattatreya earlier worked as Minister of State for Railways. It is not yet clear if they are going to get cabinet rank or Minister of State or Minister of State with Independent Charge. According to buzz in National media, 10 new members will take oath tomorrow. Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will be moving to the Center as Modi finds him a suitable candidate for the crucial Defence Ministry.
