Supreme Court serious on TRS MLA!

Telangana Rashtra Samiti MLA from Vemulawada, Chennamaneni Ramesh was rapped by the Supreme Court. Earlier AP high court had declared his election as illegal as he is not at all a citizen of India. The issue is in now Supreme Court.

However despite the case is pending in the supreme court, Ramesh voted in the recent MLC elections of Telangana. The polling officer did allow him despite T-TDP’s objection. The apex court opined that he should not have voted when his disqualification issue is in court’s purview.

The court asked the MLA to give a detailed explanation in a week time and posted the next adjourned the case till two weeks. Chennamaneni Ramesh holds German citizenship but he applied for Indian citizen ship in 2008.
