Survey: Pawan Kalyan To Lose Once Again From Bhimavaram

Janasena President Pawan Kalyan lost from Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka in 2019 elections. Recent surveys by Atma Sakshi in September and December 2021 reveal that Pawan Kalyan would still lose from Bhimavaram if he will contest against the same constituency once again.

Not once in the constituency, Janasena had bettered its 2019 vote share according to multiple flash surveys conducted. In fact, it had registered some decline. YSR Congress is still a favorite for this seat. TDP has been strengthening in the district since the second half of 2021.

But then, the party did not appoint an in-charge for Bhimavaram and that is impacting its prospects there. Probably, TDP wants to leave this seat for Janasena in case Pawan Kalyan is interested. But then, the survey says Pawan Kalyan would bag this seat by a huge margin in case there is an alliance with TDP.

On the other side, the buzz in the constituency is that Jagan will be making local MLA Grandhi Srinivas a minister in the next cabinet expansion to strengthen his candidature against Pawan Kalyan.
