Suzlon to invest 21000 Cr in AP

World Leader in Wind Energy, Suzlon company came forward to make investments worth 21000 Crore in Andhra Pradesh. The company is planning 2500MW of Wind Energy Plants and a 500 MW Solar Energy plant in the next 5 years.

The company will also be establishing an industry worth 350 Crore which manufactures parts need for Wind Energy generation. The state government promised them all the necessary permissions in 21 days and the company promised to start commercial operations in 12 months if the 21 days promise is kept.

The company have similar industries in Udipi, Daman and Puducherry. The electrical parts made in Anantapur plant will also be exported to other states and South East Countries. Along with this, the company is also planning an R&D unit and skill development centers in association with colleges and universities.
