T-Govt press Panic Button on Swine Flu!

Telangana Government faces its first challenge and it is in the form of Swine Flu which is rapidly gripping the state capital. The death toll due to this flu is increasing every day, more and more positive cases are being surfaced. Government machinery completely failed in controlling the flu.

In fact, the government is in denial mode till last week by under reporting the Swine Flu cases. By the time it realized, the damage has been done. The Telangana cabinet meeting which takes place this evening will primarily discuss about this issue.

On the other side, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao personally briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on phone about the flu and requested the Center to send a special medical team to handle the situation for which Modi readily agreed. KCR also requested Central Ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Bandaru Dattatreya to coordinate between the center and the state in this issue.
