Tahsildars delay Loan Waiver Beneficiaries List!

Andhra Pradesh government’s flagship Loan Waiver scheme may be delayed further. Now the beneficiaries list is on the tables of Tahsildars in the state and the latest delay is attributed to them. Tahsildars were asked to prepare the final lists of beneficiaries after checking the beneficiaries who have not furnished either Aadhar Card or Ration Card. There are 27.32 Lakh such accounts which are to be verified through Janmabhoomi committees.

Except for one or two districts, the verification is yet to begin in majority districts. In some districts, MROs are facing technical problems accessing the lists online. These lists are to be downloaded, printed and given to VROs.

Even though the lists will be given today or tomorrow, the beneficiaries list can not be finalized by 13th of this month. Tahsildars are requesting one more week time to sort all the issues and finalize the beneficiaries list. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will have to take a decision regarding this once comes back from Singapore.
