Tampered Systems Will Definitely Come Back to Bite KCR and Naidu

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao showed a way to bypass the constitution and encourage defections by inducting TDP MLA, Talasani Srinivas Yadav into Cabinet. Chandrababu who is at receiving end there followed the same and inducted four YSR Congress MLAs into his cabinet.

Governor ESL Narasimhan became a mute spectator in both the cases. But in the process – KCR, Naidu, and Narasimhan together set up a bad precedent. This will not stop there and the tradition will continue. Going further, we will only see one party and it will be the ruling party.

There will be no Freedom of Speech and the ruling parties will not have anyone questioning there. What Naidu and KCR did here is killing the system. Courts, Speakers, Governor and the center did nothing about that and played their parts.

Naidu and KCR should realize that they can not rule the states for ever and once they lose that, the repercussions of this trend may be very dangerous to themselves and their parties. But then Power is too intoxicating now to realize that.
