TDP and BJP to contest together in Corporation elections!

Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janta Party which contested together in the recently concluded general elections have decided to take their friendship together for the upcoming Corporation and Cantonment elections coming soon in Telangana. This decision was taken in the meeting of Cabinet Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, BJP Leader Lakshman with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu a short while ago in Hyderabad.

It is also decided that BJP will put up its candidate for the MLC seat in Graduates Quota and TDP will extend its support to the candidate. The leaders have also discussed about fighting together on various people related issues in the new state.

The meeting became conspicuous by the absence of Telangana BJP State Unit President, Kishan Reddy who is seen as a staunch opposer of the alliance between TDP and BJP since the last elections. However BJP’s central unit is taking calls regarding this issue.
