TDP and TRS join hands for Rangareddy ZP!

Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti has bagged Rangareddy Zilla Parishad. The election which was postponed couple of weeks later took place today. TRS and Congress do not have enough majority to win this election and the support of TDP members became important for both the parties. In the last minute, TDP decided to support TRS and with the support of 21 members TRS candidate Sunita Mahinder Reddy became the ZP Chairman.

Prabhakar Reddy of TDP was given the Vice Chairman post. He was elected unanimously. With this TRS had won 7 Zilla Parishad Chairman posts in Telangana districts. Khammam ZP Chairman election postponed due to a stay by High Court. The main opposition party Congress just won the Nalgonda Zilla Parishad where the party has complete majority.
