TDP begins baby steps to National Party dreams!

Telugu Desam Party had taken its first step towards realizing the dream of becoming a National Party. In the wake of state bifurcation, the party had amended its party constitution. The Party’s President will now act as the Central Committee President. The Central level politburo will be formed very soon.

For the first time, the party constitution also added the word ‘State President’. Only Chandrababu Naidu will be elected as Party Central committee President in this Mahanadu. Rest of the posts will be filled at a later date. Chandrababu Naidu had announced that the party is considering contesting in the rest of the states in the country.

On the other side, TDP also presented its budget for the previous year. The party has got an income of 81.6 Crore and spent 33.7 Crores for Party offices maintenance and publicity. With this, TDP remained as surplus budget party with 43.36 Crores in its bank account.
