TDP – BJP finish seat sharing for Cantonment Elections!

To revive their prospects in Telangana State, Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party have joined hands once again for the upcoming Secunderabad Cantonment elections. The term of Secunderabad Cantonment has completed recently and the elections will be held on January 11th.

This area is inflected with huge settler populations and both the parties will be contesting jointly to win the cantonment and there by stop the defections in to the ruling party. Both the parties have also finished the seat sharing. TDP will be contesting in 5 wards while BJP will be contesting in remaining three.These elections will be conducted by Ministry of Defence

On the other side, both the parties have decided to contest together for the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Muncipal Corporation. The elections were to take place in November but to revisit its strategies there, the ruling party is postponing the elections for some reason or other. It is expected that the elections will take place in February 2015.
