TDP Demolishes YSRCP in Its Strongholds Including Kadapa Bastion

In what can be termed as a historic victory to Telugu Desam Party, the ruling party has bagged all of the three seats in local bodies quota. What makes the victory special is that all these three seats – Kurnool, Nellore, and Kadapa are strongholds of YSR Congress.

In Kadapa, TDP has trounced YSR Congress’ Candidate, YS Vivekananda Reddy who is Jagan’s own Uncle. Kadapa, as we all know, is the bastion of YSR family for about four decades. The family is winning all the posts here from MPPs to MPs.

Both the sides have taken these elections prestigious particularly the election in Kadapa. Both the parties have resorted to Camp Politics. Jagan was so confident of winning this seat going by the history and fielded his uncle but then the unexpected has happened.

Sakshi and YSR Congress will now claim that the ruling party has misused its power but then at the end, the numbers matter. This election will be a huge blow to Jagan psychologically and will definitely have an impact on the upcoming local elections and 2019 elections even in the direction of public perception.
