TDP heading towards clear majority in SA?

First election in Seema Andhra after the state bifurcation is clearly going Telugu Desam Party’s way. The party is clearly leading about 100 MLA segments and following it closely is YSR Congress around 70 seats. Trends indicate that YSR Congress is not performing as expected in Rayalaseema which is the major reason for the party’s lagging. Even the party’s honorary President Vijayamma is trailing in Vishakapatnam Parliament position.

And in the case of Parliament seats, TDP is also leading there with leads hovering between 12-16 seats. TDP’s allliance partner, BJP is also performing reasonably well so far. Congress seem to be all set facing its worst defeat in its career. Even Senior leaders like Botsa Satya Narayana, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Pallam Raju are trailing by big margins.
