Fake Posts, Women Shaming- TDP to Bring Bill

The Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh is set to tackle fake propaganda and online shaming of women. Despite repeated requests, the opposition YSRCP continues posting content against TDP leaders on social media.

The TDP government has decided to pass a bill to curb such harmful acts. These posts are creating confusion and disturbing the social environment in Andhra Pradesh.

A Cabinet sub-committee has been formed, including Ministers Anita Vangalapudi, Nadella Manohar, Satyakumar, and Parthasarathi. Official orders for the bill are expected within days.

The AP government plans to introduce the legislation during the Winter Session of the Assembly. The bill aims to control both political leaders and netizens who engage in fake posts.

YSRCP has been sharing videos and pictures of submerged Amaravati after rains, misleading citizens. Women leaders like Vemula Prashanthi Reddy and Byreddy Shabari have been targeted with abusive posts.

The proposed bill will discipline offenders and create accountability online. It will act as a check on social media platforms to ensure responsible posting.
