TDP Invites YSRCP MLA Into The Party

Yes!! It’s official now.Nellore Rural YSRCP MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has officially announced his decision to join the TDP. The invitation to join TDP was extended to Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy during TDP youth leader Nara Lokesh’s Yuvagalam padayatra in Nellore district.

The TDP leaders, including former ministers Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Amarnath Reddy, and Abdul Aziz, met at the residence of TDP National Secretary Beeda Ravichandra and invited Kotam Reddy to join the party, to which he expressed his willingness.

Kotamreddy Sreedhar Reddy expressed his gratitude to the senior leaders of the Telugu Desam Party for the invitation to join the party after being away from the ruling YSRCP. The TDP leaders have also invited him to organize Lokesh Padayatra in Nellore Rural Constituency.

Nellore District TDP President Abdul Aziz expressed confidence that the Lokesh Padayatra would be successful with Kotam Reddy’s involvement.

It is mentioned that Nellore district has been a stronghold for YSRCP since its establishment after the separation from Kadapa district. In the 2014 elections, YSRCP won 7 out of the 10 Assembly segments, while TDP was in power.

However, in the 2019 general elections, YSRCP swept all 10 Assembly segments, leaving TDP with zero. According to sources, it is anticipated that TDP will gain a majority of segments in the upcoming elections.
