TDP Is Un-Stoppable in Srikakulam!!

TDP has finalized Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu as its candidate for the Srikakulam Lok Sabha seat. On the other hand, the YSRCP has not officially finalized its candidate, and there are reports of opposition to Perada Tilak, who is considered for the candidacy.

The TDP leaders are actively engaging in campaigning, going from village to village, to expose what they term as the anti-people policies of the ruling YSRCP.

There are indications of a weakening YSRCP presence in the district, and political analysts see this as an opportunity for the TDP to make gains.

In the 2019 elections, despite the YSRCP wave, Rammohan Naidu of the TDP was favored by the people of Srikakulam and won as the MP candidate. The TDP leadership believes in Rammohan Naidu’s popularity and has announced his candidacy for the third time.

Perada Tilak, who contested as a YSRCP candidate in the 2019 elections for the Tekkali Assembly constituency and lost to TDP candidate Kinjarapu Achchennaidu, is now being considered for the Srikakulam Lok Sabha seat by the YSRCP leadership. Some senior leaders within the YSRCP are reportedly opposing Tilak’s candidature.

Concerns are raised about the YSRCP’s level of support in all seven constituencies, citing issues such as poor roads and a lack of new development programs.

TDP is seen as gaining popularity in the region due to these factors.
