TDP MLAs suspended from Telangana Assembly!

Telangana government has found very easy way to silence opposition. They are liberally using the ‘Suspension’ weapon whenever they want. This happened in the last assembly when entire TDP MLAs are suspended and now again on the second day of the session. Alleging that Revanth Reddy caused disrespect to National Song and other TDP MLAs insulted the Governor, TRS Minister Harishrao demanded that they should apologize to the Assembly.

He proposed that all of them should be suspended for the entire session and the ruling party voted it to send them out. Revanth Reddy, Gandhi, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, Rajendra Reddy, Prakash Goud, Gopinadh, Vivek Goud and Sayanna are the suspended members.

Later Congress and BJP MLAs stated that suspension for entire session is harsh and that too on the second day itself. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao answered that he will consider allowing them inside if their behaviour gets better in 3-4 days.
