TDP MPs’ protest in Parliament for Special Status!

Telugu Desam Party MPs had staged a protest at the Gandhi statue in Parliament. They held placards and demanded for the Special Status and fulfillment of all other promises in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.

They have taken up the protest after Lok Sabha was adjourned after Congress MPs protests over Vyapam scam and Lalit Gate. Interestingly, the other day TRS MPs also protested at Parliament Gate demanding the bifurcation of the common high court.

On the other side, TRS had threatened to stall the proceedings of the house until the high court is divided. But TDP had very limited options regarding these protests as the party is the alliance partner of the ruling BJP at the center. On the other side, YSR Congress is also silent on this issues so as not to provoke the center in terms of cases on Jagan.
