These 11 individuals were arrested in the early hours of Friday and were taken to the police station. According to the reports, a few more suspects may get arrested soon in Vijayawada Rural, Gannavaram, Bapulapadu, and Unguturu regions.

On February 20 this year, followers of Vamsi and other supporters of YCP attacked the TDP office in Gannavaram. They destroyed furniture, burned vehicles and also attacked several TDP leaders.

As YCP was in the government back then, there was no progress in this case. However, when the government changed, the investigation started and using the CCTV footage, the cops identified 71 individuals involved in the attack.

With today’s arrests, a total of 18 were taken into custody and many more are expected to be apprehended in the coming days.
