TDP wins first election in TS after Revanth’s episode!

Here is a morale boosting victory for Telugu Desam Party in Telangana. Asifabad Sarpanch elections took place on Saturday. TRS had fielded local MLA Kovva Lakshmi’s daughter, Aruna in the election.

Being the ruling party, winning such small election should be very easy especially as TRS is enjoying its honeymoon period. However TRS candidate lost the election badly. TDP candidate won the election conveniently much to the shock of the ruling party.

TDP sources say that the party cadre are buoyed especially after Revanth Reddy’s episode and this is an example of what is in store for the ruling party in coming days. TRS party district leadership had initiated a review on this loss.
