Team India Missing Shikhar Dhawan Very Badly?

It is known to our readers that Vijay Shankar is ruled out of the ongoing World Cup and the team management is bringing in Mayank Agarwal as his replacement. That poses an interesting scenario because Vijay Shankar is a middle-order batsman and Mayank Agarwal is an Opener. It means the team is trying to find a proper replacement to Shikhar Dhawan.

Mayank already proved his mettle in Australia Test Series but is yet to make his ODI debut. India may give him a chance against Sri Lanka as they are keen on having an opener who can go hard from ball one (Dhawan’s role). KL Rahul who is opening in the place of Dhawan may be sent back to his Number Four Position.
